She teaches Saxophone and Clarinet at the Grange School and she also tutors on the Harrogate Saxophone Summer School.

Gillian enjoys performing and teaching internationally, including several recital and masterclass tours in the USA with colleague Nathan Mertens. They have visited universities in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Colorado. One university professor wrote:
“Nathan and Gillian presented a wonderful musical collaboration for my saxophone studio...their masterclass was intuitive, informative and inspiring and encouraged the students to perform at a much higher level. They truly “feel” the music and made us feel it too. I hope to host them again in the near future!”

She has run workshops at events including the RNCM Saxophone Day, Chester Festival Saxophone Day, Berkshire Maestros, Wolverhampton Music Service, Lincolnshire Music Service, Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra workshop series and RNCM Young Saxes, as well as being an artist for Yehudi Menuhin's 'Live Music Now' scheme.
